Requirements for the course

Attendance is required of all students registered for this course. If you cannot attend the class on a certain date the student must inform the instructor.

All students are required to ask at least four questions over the semester. Trivial questions will not contribute to the count.

GEN691 is a seminar series during which treats are served and at which each speaker is introduced by a member of the class. All students are required to participate in one of the two activities: 1) introduce a speaker or 2) pick up the food and return the food to the IG office. Students will be asked to volunteer for these activities. The activities for which there is no volunteer will be assigned to chosen students by the instructor. These assignments will generally be made to students who have not yet volunteered for an activity.
